Erik Beuckelaers

Erik brings 20 years of experience in the life sciences and medical device sectors. He has a proven track record of developing and guiding innovative technologies to market. Since July 2024, Erik has been the Chief Financial Officer at Magnolia Medical Technologies, overseeing all finance and revenue operations.

Before joining Magnolia, Erik served as CFO at PetDx, an emerging animal health company specializing in early cancer detection. There, he played a key role in refining the company’s commercial strategy and streamlining operations in preparation for a strategic transaction.

Prior to PetDx, Erik was CFO at Neocis, where he managed all general and administrative functions. Under his leadership, Neocis successfully secured several rounds of funding from leading venture capital firms and strategic partners. During his five-year tenure, Erik spearheaded initiatives to drive commercial growth and enhance profitability.

Erik’s career also includes several finance roles at Johnson & Johnson across both the US and EMEA regions. Notably, he was the inaugural head of finance at Verb Surgical, the surgical robotics joint venture between J&J and Google.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Financial Management from Vlerick Business School in Ghent, Belgium, and a Master of Science in Commercial Engineering from the University of Antwerp, Belgium.
